Relocation with family: where you should raise children

Today, when it comes to long-term tasks, more and more mobilizers choose to move with the whole family. Suddenly the pressure index goes up. There are other aspects to consider besides the role and the amount of his salary. Now we need to calculate living costs, the amount of tuition and the quality of the educational institutions in the target, health insurance for the whole family and fulfilling emotional and material needs.

ExpatFocus looked at all the destinations worth raising children and living there as a family, creating a quality list of countries where it is worth raising children. The list took into account characteristics such as welfare, economics and beneficial services for the parent and child.

As you will see below, European countries are listed with comfortable working hours for parents, and Asia – with a great emphasis on quality education. Let’s get started!

South Korea

North Korea’s notorious neighbor is starring in such lists because of the quality of its education. South Korea is known as an exporter of mathematics geniuses and young scientists.

But, what good education is worth if parents can’t spend time with their children? In the Asian country, it is customary to work an average of 52 hours a week, which does not leave much quality time with the family.

Mexico

Mexican culture puts family values above all else. This is reflected in cultural events, entertainment venues and more, where children are included in events and thinking about the user experience.

But, and it’s a big but, most of Mexico’s majority is made up of poverty and poor infrastructure. And this has a direct impact on the quality of educational institutions and the education provided.

France

France is considered a very generous country when it comes to welfare. This is especially reflected in parents who want to combine parenting with a career. And even if those who move to it do not have the same benefits as the residents, it is still a welfare state that provides a quality of life for families.

The only drawback – both in the business world and in the educational frameworks (which are highly regarded in the world), speak French and therefore you must know the language in order to integrate and enjoy life in France.

Germany

The perfect country for new parents. In Germany, mothers receive full paid maternity leave for a full year, a close-knit midwife and excellent children’s health service.

When it comes to education in Germany, although it is considered qualitative, only 7% of those who move send their children to the public education system.

Taiwan

Taiwan celebrates childhood. This is reflected in a child-friendly society, perfect suburbs for family vacations and working hours that also allow to combine quality time with the family.

The most prominent difficulty for those who move around the country is the language.

Australia

If your child is hyperactive, move to Australia. The state encourages sports and proper nutrition and puts it into the educational and health institutions and how not – to the leisure culture.

Positively or negatively, judge for yourself, in Australia you put the pen (or mouse) at 5pm and that’s where the work day ends and the family day begins.

Austria

Austria is considered a wealthy country, thanks to its infrastructure and stable politics. It ranks high when it comes to education, health and work-life balance.

And again there’s a mourning, and here we’re talking about the Austrians. They are not really nice for kids so expect grumpy faces if you want to spend time with the kids in restaurants for example.

czech republic

From year to year, the power of the Czech Republic increases among mobility. The quality of life in it increases every year and yet the cost of living remains low.

You can argue about the quality of the country’s public schools, but they are affordable.

Israel

It is important to mention, we are not taking a stand here, we are just quoting the ExpatFocus website.

It turns out that our shaky politics in Israel, along with the security situation, directly affect the entry of mobiles into the country. They’re afraid to come.

But those who do arrive attest to a very high level of education and diverse possibilities when it comes to raising children.

sweden

The Swedish education system has been a leader in innovation for years. The emphasis in the country is on experiential learning through play and only at a later stage do children begin formal learning through lectures and tests.

For parents, it’s heaven. Throughout the country, in all areas of industry, supreme efforts are being made to reduce working hours in order to enable family leisure for all.

Finland

Finland is marching at the top. One of the surveys among mobilized parents showed that none of the respondents had anything bad to say about the country.

The education system is excellent, the residents feel safe and the quality of life is very high. 100 on the mobility scale.
