Pharmacies

Pharmacies can be found in most shopping areas.

They carry prescription drugs, shampoos, personal items, baby foods, diapers, etc.

Generally, prescriptions are returned to you after the pharmacist fills them. However, sometimes a drug is temporarily out of stock and you may need to wait a day or more, or go to another pharmacy.

Magen David Adom, the equivalent to the American Red Cross, has stations in most towns and is available for 24-hour emergency services, not just ambulance service.
