Municipal Tax Bills (called ‘arnona’)

Once you’ve signed your lease, in addition to transferring ownership of the electric, water and gas bills, you will need to register ‘ownership’ of your rented apartment with the municipality. Some municipalities require your physical presence to accomplish this. Most municipalities offer the option of online registration, although to avoid complication, we recommend doing this in person.
