Ceramic and Electric Cookers
Always wipe down and clean spills and oil stains from ceramic or electric cookers immediately after use. This is necessary to avoid the build-up of grease and grime which could cause irrevocable damage to the appliance. We recommend ONLY using products designed specifically for these appliances. Only use soft cloths – NOT steel wool or any other material that could leave scratch marks or mar the surface.
Dishwasher: Only use dishwasher detergents. The water in Israel is ‘hard’ and leaves watermarks; salt needs to be placed in the receptacle for the detergent and the dishwasher should be run with salt on a regular basis.
